ECOCERT

Gaelle Organic is certified by Ecocert as a manufacturer of organic cosmetics according to the Ecocert Standard available at http://cosmetics.ecocert.com.

Founded in France in 1991, Ecocert is a worldwide certifier of organic products, carrying out inspections in over 80 countries.

It is accredited to certify organic ingredients according to the NOP standard under the USDA. Ecocert was first to develop a standard for organic cosmetics, widely adopted in Europe.

Ecocert have scrutinzed our products, and all the processes we use to bring them to you, and have confirmed that we are in full compliance with their standard. They inspect our lab and audit our records every year.

ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS

Our certification means that at least 95% of the plant ingredients in our products are produced by organic farming.

Harmful synthetic ingredients, GMOs and animal testing are completely banned.

Our products are also free from drying alcohols - which are often used by other organic beauty companies as preservatives - with the exception of some trace alcohol in a botanical extract used in our Serum Supérieure Bio-Active Complex.

MEETING EUROPE'S HIGHER STANDARDS

In addition to being certified organic by Ecocert, Gaelle Organic products are registered in the European Union, in compliance with EU Cosmetics Regulations 1223/2009. These regulations provide enhanced consumer protections, including safety (prior to market release, all products must be analyzed and approved by a qualified toxicologist), transparency (all ingredients must be listed on product packaging) and integrity (all product claims must be backed with clinical evidence). We welcome the higher consumer protections in Europe and hope U.S. regulators follow suit to improve the safety and integrity of the products we put on our skin.

CRUELTY-FREE

We value the well-being of animals in all that we do.  Neither Ecocert nor the EU permit animal testing of any cosmetic products, or their ingredients. In addition, Gaelle Organic is certified cruelty-free by PETA, as shown in this link on PETA's database.
